Get your Hovn system fully connected and run your first live session through it.

Outcomes

By the end of this step, you’ll have your website connected, your agency integrations live, and your first session running end‑to‑end through Hovn.

1. Connect Your Website

Why connect your site

Connecting Hovn to your website makes your classes bookable online and visible in Google. This ensures the full flow is live: homepage → registration → confirmation → certs.

Steps

  1. Visit your Service Provider URL

  2. Connect your website to Hovn so students can register directly

  3. Use deep links to promote specific courses or cities

2. Connect to Agency Platforms (Card Banks)

Purpose

Agency integrations let you submit rosters and issue certifications directly from Hovn.

Steps

  1. Go to Settings → Card Banks

  2. Select the bank for your agency and follow the guide:
    Connect to the AHA
    Connect to the American Red Cross

  3. Confirm status shows “Active”

Result

Hovn is now wired into the agencies. You can issue certs and track them in the platform.

3. Run a Session and Issue Certifications

Overview

When students begin registering, run the class in Hovn from start to finish. Everything—attendance, rosters, and certification—happens in one place.

Steps

  1. Go to Sessions → open your session

  2. Go to Bookings → cancel/reschedule no‑shows

  3. Add grades and upload any required paperwork or files

  4. Click “Issue Certifications” (visible if your Card Bank is connected)

Tip

Hovn is designed for end‑to‑end session management—create sessions ahead of time.
