Courses Overview
Courses are the foundation of Hovn. A Course Offering is your packaged version of an agency or custom course — with your price, materials, and structure — that you then schedule into live sessions.
Courses make it possible for Hovn to:
Display your catalog on your website
Create SEO-friendly listings for students
Apply certification rules from agencies automatically
When you finish this guide, you’ll be ready to publish a course that students can view and register for once sessions are added.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have:
At least one Location created
The required Materials for your course (keycodes, links, books, etc.)
What Is a Course Offering?
A Course Offering is the master version of a class. It defines:
The course name and description
Price and duration
Which Materials are required or optional
Certification and compliance rules
Once a Course Offering is created, you can schedule it into one or more Sessions.

Attach Materials before publishing so checkout works smoothly.
Create 1–2 test sessions before launching at scale.
Archive outdated courses instead of deleting them to preserve records.
