Repeating sessions helps you keep your course schedule full and visible to students. By setting up recurring sessions, you can publish future classes in advance and improve both discovery and conversions.
Why Repeat Sessions?
Keeping 30–60 days of sessions live is one of the best ways to:
Increase student sign-ups
Improve course visibility
Reduce last-minute scheduling gaps
Most students book close to the class date, so having upcoming sessions already published makes a big difference.
How to Repeat a Session
Open the Session you want to repeat.
In the session form, select Repeat.
Choose your cadence:
Daily
Weekly
Monthly
Set an end date for the series.
Click Save.
Hovn will automatically create the series on your calendar.
What Gets Copied
When a session is repeated, Hovn copies:
The course
The location
Assigned instructors
Seat capacity
Price
This keeps each session consistent and saves setup time.
Best Practices for Scheduling
Based on usage across training centers:
About 70% of bookings happen within two weeks of the class date.
Keep at least 30 days of upcoming public sessions live at all times.
60–90 days is usually the sweet spot if you run frequent classes.
Publishing sessions more than 90 days out rarely increases sign-ups and can sometimes confuse students.
Tip: You can schedule sessions far in advance, but for best results, focus your active inventory on the next 30–90 days.
Known Improvements
Right now, repeating sessions follows a standard calendar pattern (like “every Saturday at 9am”). This works well for regular schedules, but we know some classes run on less predictable dates.
We’re working on a future update that will let you repeat sessions by selecting specific dates on a calendar.
