Overview
Use Restrict Discovery Catalog when visitors with a coupon should only see courses on that coupon’s price list—not your full course catalog. How to create price lists, coupons, codes, and URLs is in Price Lists and Coupon in the Help Center.

Before you start
In Price Lists and Coupons, complete:
How to Create a Price List — turn Apply to all Courses off if you need a limited catalog
How to Add Individual Products to a Price List — add every course (and materials) the partner or promo should include
Turn on catalog restriction
Open the price list → Coupons → create or edit a coupon
Enable Restrict Discovery Catalog
Click Save
Share the coupon URL from the coupon form (see How to Share Coupons in the main article)

Client example (Acme Dental)
Price list with only Acme courses and materials; Apply to all Courses off; set 100% off where employees should not pay at checkout

Share the coupon URL
Use Price Lists → [your list] → Orders to report usage; invoice Acme outside Hovn
Use Student Pays with $0 pricing until Client Pays is available in your account (see the main article).
Important notes
Apply to all Courses disables Restrict Discovery Catalog. Add courses on the Products tab instead.
Turning Apply to all Courses on later clears restrict on all coupons on that price list. Re-enable restrict on each coupon if you switch back to selected products only.
Custom session price: If a session uses Use Custom Price in admin, the training site treats that as the regular price; the coupon may show a lower total and a strikethrough on the regular price when the coupon reduces it.
Materials: Bundled materials billed separately still follow your price list; totals on course and session cards reflect coupon pricing when applicable.
Troubleshooting

Confirm Restrict Discovery Catalog is on
Open Products—at least one course must be on the price list
Confirm Apply to all Courses is off on the price list
Ask the visitor to click Remove coupon on the banner, or fix the list and share a fresh link

The price list has Apply to all Courses enabled. Turn it off, add specific Products, or leave restrict off and use the full catalog.
Coupon works at checkout but the catalog was not filtered

Restrict Discovery Catalog is off—that is expected. Turn it on to narrow the catalog.

Saving Apply to all Courses resets restrict on every coupon on that list. Open each coupon and enable restrict again if needed.
