Deep Links

Use deep links to send students straight to the exact class, certification, or session they want—so they book faster and don’t get lost in your catalog.

What are deep links?

Deep linking means copying the exact page URL from Hovn so students land exactly where they need to go—without extra clicks or searching.

Instead of sending everyone to your full catalog, you can send them directly to:

  • A specific city or region

  • A certification page

  • A single course

  • Even one exact session

This reduces drop-offs and makes booking easier, especially on mobile.

Why deep links matter

If your website already says something like “BLS in Miami”, your button should take students straight to that filtered view—not back to the main catalog.

Deep links help you:

  • Speed up enrollment

  • Match your website messaging to the exact booking page

  • Improve conversions by removing extra steps

Common deep link examples

Here are a few ways deep links are typically used:

  • Region filter
    .../courses?regions=miami-fl
    → Shows only Miami classes

  • Certification page
    .../certifications/aha-bls-provider
    → AHA BLS Provider certification

  • Specific course
    .../courses/aha-bls-provider-heartcode
    → BLS Provider Heartcode course

  • Single session
    .../sessions/xxxx
→ One exact class date and time

When to use deep links

Use deep links anywhere you promote classes, including:

  • Homepage hero buttons

  • Navigation menu items

  • Certification landing pages

  • Blog posts or ads

  • Email campaigns

Any time you already know what the student is looking for, send them directly there.

Best practices

  • Match the link to the message on your site
If the page says “CPR + AED,” link to that exact course or certification view.

  • Keep links clean and intentional
Avoid sending students to your full catalog unless they truly need to browse.

  • Test your links
Click every deep link yourself to make sure it lands where you expect.
