r.25 American Red Cross Update
This page covers how the American Red Cross r.25 guidelines are supported in Hovn, what’s live today, and how to transition your programs to the new standards.

The r.25 courses and materials listed below are live in Hovn.
If you need a course that isn’t listed yet, you can request it using the form at the bottom of this page.
Guardrails
To keep records clean and compliant, follow these rules:
No cross-moving students
Learners cannot be moved from old-guidelines sessions into r.25 (2025) sessions.If a student already paid
Add them to the new r.25 session as a manual booking, mark the order Paid, then cancel their booking in the old session.Archiving old courses
Once you’re fully transitioned, archive old-guideline courses so no new students can register.
How to Transition to r.25 Courses
Follow these steps to move cleanly to the new guidelines:
1) Prepare your materials
Create or update Materials so they’re ready to attach to your new r.25 courses.

2) Create a 2025 (r.25) course offering
Set up a new course using the r.25 version of the curriculum.

3) Schedule sessions
Create new Sessions tied to the r.25 course.

4) Update your website links
Point all booking links to the new r.25 course and session pages.

5) (Optional) Archive old courses
Once fully transitioned, archive old courses to prevent new registrations.
6) (Optional) Remove empty sessions
You can either delete empty sessions manually or contact us with the booking page links and request bulk deletion.
